In 2003 George Watts launched on screen as the Wedding Planner for BBC2s The Good, Bad and the Ugly. Literally straight in at the deep end and with just six weeks to go George co ordinated every detail from the cake to a stunning Astin Martin for the Groom. Thankfully the couple even made it down the aisle to say I do
.. on time!
Recognised for his huge warmth and lovable approach, George went on to report exclusively for GMTV. Always up for a challenge he devised and presented inspirational ideas for summer Stag & Hen celebrations. As part of their interactive wedding viewers were invited to vote for their favorite options with activities including Clay Pigeon shooting and yodeling up a mountain! Thanks to these amazing experiences George now works freelance on a whole host of Celebrations from glitzy Weddings to Private functions.
At present George works with a design agency developing and launching new product ranges for the home. Working alongside a whole host of manufacturers he identifies consumer trends and brings the next big product to life! Recent work includes projects at the Milan Furniture Fair, Harrods Caribbean Season, Interiors for Big Brother 5 and the Food Design research event at the V&A. This exciting role has allowed him to combine many interests in the Creative Industries from fashion to cuisine. Indeed, with a vast experience in this area George has spent the last few months devising a range of ideas for development in the Factual Entertainment sector.
George can be seen hosting Channel Award Winning Wedding TV's Wedding Breakfast show every Saturday morning.
